Are you coming and camping at Camp Tongawood with your troop on a weekend? Did you know that we have a fishing pond stocked with sunfish and bass? Fishing is an awesome skill to teach Girl Scouts of any age and you don’t need to provide your own polls to come fish at our pond! Fill out this form to let us know when you will be staying with us and we will send you a confirmation, and logistics for fishing at Camp.
The pond has one large fishing doc with a capacity of 10-12 at a time. The 6 Smaller Fishing Docs surrounding the pond can have 2-4 on them at a time, supervision is ALWAYS required.
Requirements for Fishing at Camp Tongawood: A minimum of two adults around the pond at all times when girls are present, basic fishing skills or experience required. Adherence to all safety rules and regulations is required, if you have questions feel free to email campdept@gsksmo.org
