Junior Animal Habitats Badge Day
9/8/2018, 9am-3pm (bring a sack lunch!)
Animals live in the wild and we don’t often get to spend time with them in their natural homes – their habitats. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t find out more about where they live, how they play and how we can help them out!
Come join us for a fun-filled day at Camp Tongawood where you will build a bat house (did you know bats can eat up to 1,000 mosquitos a day?!), get hands-on with Reptile Rick, learn about bow hunting conservation efforts and try your hand at archery, learn more about wild animal homes all while you earn your Animal Habitats badge (included with program registration)!
Brownie Home Scientist Badge Day
10/27/2018, 9am - 1pm
Explosions, experiments, excitement galore! You don’t have to grow up a scientist to BE a scientist, you are a scientist every time you do an experiment. Did you know you can do awesome experiments with just things lying around your house? Come join us for a delightful day at Camp Tongawood; play with electricity, make a density lamp, can your own food, learn how to look at the world from a scientists perspective and earn your Home Scientist badge (included with program registration)!
