Any troop or service unit planning an overnight trip and/or to participate in a high risk activity at any of these camping properties must complete  the Trip & Activity Approval Application at least 6 weeks in advance prior to participation. All activities with an * next to them are considered a high risk activity must follow GS Safety Activity Checkpoints which require staff/volunteers with additional training and certification to operate and lead the activity. If such properly certified individuals are not provided by the camp property, girls may not participate in those activities. GS Safety Activity Checkpoints are the minimum standards necessary for any/all girl participation in an activity. Example: the SAC for archery states the activity is for Brownie aged Girl Scouts and above, even if a camp allows younger aged girls to participate, only Brownies and up may do so.

Council property partners are a collection of various camp properties in which Girl Scout troops and service units can contact to organize and reserve for campouts or events. Each camping property listed has some basic contact information for the property, a list of some amenities available at the property as well as suggested uses. For example, while some properties have the capacity for large service unit events or day camps, others may only be conducive to individual troop or small multi troop campouts.

In order to find out more information about reserving these camping locations, leaders will need to visit the website, email and/or call the properties directly. Several of the websites have pricing information available while others do not and will require a call to the property to find out more. 

Please note that  these properties have all been researched and/or visited by council representatives and are approved as meeting the standards we would expect for Girl Scouts as appropriate camping locations and meet safety activity checkpoints.
